Baker & Maxwell CRE Advisory was founded on a simple principle: real estate decisions deserve clarity, discipline, and respect for capital.

Our role is to help clients navigate complex development decisions with confidence—before significant time, money, or risk is committed.

Jamie Baker

Jamie Baker is a real estate development and investment advisory professional specializing in multifamily and mixed-use projects. He takes a disciplined, market-driven approach to feasibility analysis, underwriting, and capital readiness for development and investment opportunities.

Jamie holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the College of Business at Florida International University and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a multifamily and development specialist with Sands Investment Group’s Fort Lauderdale office, advising owners and developers on market validation, development economics, and execution risk.

Dr. J. Chris Ford

Dr. J. Chris Ford, CEO of Solis Power, LLC and Golden Technologies, Inc, is a national leader in renewable energy and technology commercialization, with a proven track record securing over $180M in capital and federal contracts. A former DOE advisor and founder of multiple tech ventures, Dr. Ford brings deep expertise in IP strategy, project finance, and large-scale infrastructure development, including concentrated solar power, data centers, and energy storage. His work spans Africa to Appalachia, uniting policy, innovation, and equity at scale.
